One of the fascinating parts of the Mario canon is how the series has adopted parts of Super Mario Bros. 2, which took place, of course, in a shared lucid dream space known as Subcon. While not as prominent a fixture in subsequent Mario games and spinoffs, Mouser remains one of the very coolest from the roster. He is a mouse in sunglasses.
