Bobby was so clutch

He knew I didn’t have a PlayStation and when he played Syphon Filter for weeks on end I think his wife was like “you gotta stop for a while” so he brought it over and I got to play a PlayStation for a few halcyon. It ruled.

He was right

Bobby was totally right -- the game rules. Maybe it hasn't aged gracefully but god what a moment in time.

It did not, however, lead my parents to buy me a PlayStation

Though I didn’t score a PlayStation until the second incarnation, it certainly kickstarted my love for the platform when Bobby my adult neighbor insisted I play Syphon Filter in the comfort of my home.
